Roof Deck Waterproofing

The Trump Plaza Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City is situated right on the boardwalk with beautiful ocean views from the rooftop deck and patio area. An existing non-breathable roofing membrane had failed and the owners were looking for a replacement system that would provide a waterproof membrane and finished wearing surface in one. AQUAFIN-2K/M was chosen due to its breathability, durability, waterproofing capability and ease of application in conjunction with penetrations and details. The AQUAFIN-2K/M was applied using the Carrousel Heavy Duty Spray pump to the entire 10,000 sf of outdoor rooftop deck space. Using the JOINT SEALING TAPES and GASKETS all existing drains and wall/floor joints were easily treated.
