Trade Show Wrap-Up
2011 is off to a good start and AQUAFIN has successfully exhibited at 2 industry events. The World of Concrete 2011 was held in Las Vegas, NV from January 18 – 21. This year AQUAFIN had 2 booths – one located in the South Hall and another outside in the “Artistry in Decorative Concrete” Pavilion. The outside booth featured live demonstrations of the DECORFLEX decorative coating system. During the various demonstrations visitors were able to see how easy the product is to apply, how to treat cracks and joints with the JOINT SEALING TAPE-2000, and how to work with different trowels and troweling techniques. Finishing techniques such as engraving, staining and integral coloring were also demonstrated, showing visitors the many different possibilities available when working with DECORFLEX. Thanks to the overwhelming response from the outdoor booth we will definitely expand our presence at “Artistry in Decorative Concrete” next year.
The Atlantic City Pool & Spa Show just wrapped up and despite Mother Natures greatest efforts attendees showed up after battling the elements and came out to see what the industry was offering in terms of new products. AQUAFIN had a larger booth this year and came away with a positive impression of what this year holds in store for the pool industry.
Next on the list is the Concrete Décor Show, being held in Nashville, TN from March 15 – 18, 2011. If you are part of the decorative concrete industry this is one event you wont want to miss! The show will feature live demonstrations, educational presentations and workshops and a special onsite decorative concrete showcase to benefit Rocketown – a local teen outreach center in Nashville.
